What to Expect Monday May 2

This blog will be a record of my training, diet, rest, etc. in efforts to improve as an athlete and prepare myself for Crossfit competition.  Monday May 2 will be the first post.  This is my first attempt at blogging so I will appreciate any insight that you can provide to make this better.  I would like to stress that my workouts will be tailored for my own specific needs as a competitor.  I am attempting to improve on overall strength/power, high skill gymnastics, and shorter metcons.  Through the course of the open I have been analyzing my training and what steps I need to take in order to improve.  Just to give you an idea of what to expect, here is what I have in mind: Mon, Tues, Wed-on, Thurs-rest, Fri, Sat-on, Sun-rest.  I am looking at hitting oly and power lifts as well as skill work 3-4 times a week, interval days twice a week, and "normal"  met cons 2-3 times.  Fridays will usually be the only day I will hit multiples wods a day outside of competitions. 

I am looking forward to making this blog a useful record for myself and would also love to hear feedback from any of you that can assist me in making my training more successful.  See ya'll Monday!
